Playing with ink in the studio. It’s strange how it reminds me of my childhood, when you’d search the clouds for recognizable images. What do you see?

Suminagashi, the Japanese art of marbling, dates back to the 12th century. In creating suminagashi, ink is floated on water and the image is transferred onto paper or fabric.
